Michael Rooney is a graduate of Howard Payne University School of Business. He has used his ten years of business sales and consulting along with his extensive computer training and knowledge to help dental practitioners successfully implement and maximize their high-tech investments. His "All-Aboard" team approach has been proven extremely effective in numerous offices and has been implemented by general dentists and specialist alike. He is an honorary member of the World Clinical Laser Institute and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He has provided 100+ clinical education lectures in Dallas, Houston, Tulsa, New Orleans, San Antonio, Austin, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, Lubbock, Wichita Falls, Rogers, Tyler, Shreveport, Abilene, Waco, Hot Springs, as well as many smaller towns across the southern United States. Michael has presented for OUHSC College of Dentistry, Baylor College of Dentistry, Southwest Dental Conference Center for Knowledge, Texas Dental Association Laser Education Lab, American Dental Association Laser Lab, Texas Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Biolase Global Sales and Strategy Symposium, World Clinical Laser Institute, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, Dallas Asian Dental Society, East Texas Dental Society, Rogers County Dental Society, along with several other study clubs and meetings. Michael has been a regular booth presenter for both Biolase and Henry Schein at annual dental meetings across America.
Michael currently serves as Senior Laser Specialist for Biolase Technology, Inc. (Irvine, CA) and is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crossroads Christian Church (Grand Prairie, TX) a congregation of over 5,000 members. He enjoys teaching/mentoring colleagues and associates alike and has received numerous awards for excellence in service and work ethic. Michael serves as a youth coach for the area teenagers, and loves coaching little league teams for his children, as well as enjoying many outdoor activities like softball, football, basketball, swimming, surfing, horseback riding, photography, fishing, hunting, and golf to name a few. He is Barbados descent and hence his favorite destination to relax is the island of Barbados where he visits his relatives and enjoys the beauty and history of the Caribbean. He is a proud father of four children Mason, Connor, Kate & Ethan and has been married to his dear bride Amanda for over thirteen years. They reside in Dallas Texas.
