Marvo Manning is a down-to-earth vivacious petite and stunningly beautiful personality who has adorned the cover of magazines in Barbados. She is one of Barbados's famed actresses and continues to feature in many of the local plays.
She is a former Carnival Queen of Barbados and started her career as a teller with Scotiabank before taking on the role of an ambassador for the Barbados Tourist Board. She has worked in the media for many years but was best known as a television personality with the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation where she started as an announcer and worked her way through the ranks to programme manager. She was the first female in the management ranks within the Caribbean and went on to become head of the radio station and head of the television production department.
When she left the media, her talents were demanded in teaching where she accepted the post of consultant with the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP). She still continues to work with BIMAP as a part-time lecturer in the areas of Customer Service, Telephone Etiquette, Business Etiquette and Personal development Programmes.
